We have completed various commercial new build projects from a diverse section of business, such as Bay View Garden Centre in Bolton-le-Sands, to build a portal framed garden centre, fully insulated with under floor heating and including gift shop and tea shop. This project was undertaken in just 12 weeks to ensure the re-opening was on time to take advantage of Christmas trade.

Also the Vale of Lune RUFC’s new changing room facilities, completed in September 2010. This development incorporated 8 new changing rooms with facilities, physiotherapy and strapping rooms as well as additional facilities for spectator comfort. Again, to meet the client’s expectations, the programme of works was tailored to ensure that demolition of the existing facilities and the replacement new build were completed in the off season.

Our latest project is the new build Village Hall at Galgate. Sure to be a cherished community asset, this purpose built hall is a cross wall construction supporting roof purlins, with raking glulam beams supported by glulam columns in the lobby area. Walls are masonry construction with grey standard profile composite roofing sheet roof. It features timber cladding and ivory render to the external walls with UPVC windows and doors, giving the building a modern look. Its environmental credentials have been considered too, with the use of local contractors, sustainable materials and an energy efficient heating system. The project is expected to be completed in Spring 2012.
